[Saba Sports News] Recently, Real Madrid central
defender Antonio Rudiger revealed in a media interview that he had a strong
desire to leave Chelsea when Frank Lampard was the coach. Rudiger, who spent
five years at Chelsea and achieved significant success, including winning the Champions
League and FA Cup, also faced some challenges during his time at the club. In
the first half of the 2020-21 season, under Lampard’s coaching, Rudiger found
himself on the fringes of the team, with a significant decrease in playing
time. As a result, he started contemplating a potential departure from Chelsea.
Rudiger openly expressed his thoughts, stating that he couldn’t exactly explain
what happened but acknowledged that it’s part of football. He mentioned that
Lampard may have had different ideas or favored other players. Nonetheless,
Rüdiger believed that the best response in football is given on the pitch, and
he felt he provided a perfect response. What are your thoughts on this
situation?
