Sports News] According to reports from British media, Netflix has secured the
rights to broadcast a behind-the-scenes series on Manchester City’s historic
treble-winning season. During the season in which Manchester City won the
Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League, the club had photographers
embedded within the squad to capture exclusive footage. While the club’s
in-house production company, City Studios, initially packaged the footage,
external companies expressed a keen interest in acquiring it for their
platforms. Netflix has successfully secured a seven-figure deal with Manchester
City to air a six-part series titled “Together: Treble Winners.” The
series is set to premiere in April and will be available in over 200 countries.
A trailer for the series is expected to be released soon, and it will be dubbed
or subtitled for different markets. Manchester City believes that showcasing
the inside story of their treble-winning success on Netflix will further boost
the club’s global appeal.
