Sports News] According to Italian media reports, prior to the Champions League
game between Bayern Munich and Lazio, a group of extreme Lazio fans gathered in
a beer hall in Munich where they sang fascist songs and made fascist salutes.
Lazio eventually lost the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 match
0-3 to Bayern Munich, resulting in a total score of 1-3 over the two legs and
their elimination from the tournament. Approximately 100 extreme Lazio fans
were said to have participated in the gathering at the beer hall. Munich local
police confirmed that an 18-year-old Italian tourist was temporarily arrested
for performing a fascist salute in a restaurant. The individual was taken to
the police station for further investigation, but later released after posting
bail. Committee No. 44 of the Munich Criminal Police Department is currently
conducting further investigation into the incident.
