[Saba Sports News] England batter Jonny Bairstow will be available for the whole Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season for Punjab Kings (PBKS).
Although Bairstow has returned home following the end of red-ball tour of India, he will arrive in time for IPL 2024 and will remain in the country till the end of Punjab Kings’ campaign.
With various England players making themselves unavailable for the tournament, there were doubts regarding Bairstow’s status as well.
While Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer did not put their name in the auction pool, Mark Wood, Jason Roy and Harry Brook opted out of the competition just days before the start of the season.
In some other news, Punjab Kings will play their final two home matches in Dharamsala. Their remaining home fixtures will be held in a new venue in Mullanpur.
