[Saba Sports
News] According to British media reports, Neymar’s Mercedes helicopter has been
grounded by the Brazilian government due to an expired certificate. The
Brazilian government requires helicopters to undergo a certification process
every three years to ensure they are fit to fly. Until the new certificate is
approved, Neymar’s helicopter will remain grounded. The helicopter, weighing
3.7 tons and equipped with two turboshaft engines, was purchased by Neymar in
2019 when he was still playing for Paris Saint-Germain. The helicopter has the
capability to fly automatically at night and is estimated to have cost around
£10 million. Neymar customized the helicopter by adding Batman’s logo on the
leather seats and his own initials, “NJR,” on the fuselage. It is
worth noting that Neymar owns two other helicopters, one of which is a Cessna C
model with a capacity of 12 people. Therefore, despite the grounding of the
Mercedes helicopter, Neymar still has two other helicopters at his disposal.
