[Saba Sports News] According to reports in British media, Bournemouth forward Dominic Solanke has a release clause in his contract worth £65 million, but it is only applicable to specific clubs. The 26-year-old player had an impressive performance in the Premier League last season, scoring 19 goals and providing 3 assists. Consequently, he has attracted interest from top teams in England and Europe. However, the release clause is limited to certain clubs, and it is not currently known which clubs fall under this category. Given that Bournemouth is unlikely to willingly part ways with their leading goal scorer, it is expected that only Premier League and European clubs would trigger this release clause. Solanke’s current contract runs until 2027. He joined Bournemouth from Liverpool in 2019 for a fee of £19 million plus additional bonuses. If Bournemouth sells Solanke, Liverpool will receive 20% of the profit, which is any amount exceeding £19 million. In the event of a £65 million transfer, Liverpool would receive approximately £9 million. It is worth noting that Liverpool previously had a buy-back clause for Solanke, but it has now expired.
