An auctioneer from RM Sotheby’s stated that this collection holds a unique place in Ferrari’s history as it was the first 250 GT SWB California Spider ever built and was showcased at the 1960 Geneva Motor Show. Ballack, who has owned and meticulously maintained the car for the past 16 years, developed a deep passion for Ferrari during his close relationship with legendary F1 driver Michael Schumacher at the peak of his career. The Ferrari 250 GT SWB California Spider is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cars ever produced by Ferrari. This particular car was previously sold at an auction in March 2016 for over $17 million.
