[Saba Sports News] Dan Hurley might be facing one of the biggest decisions of his life, but that hasn’t stopped the UConn head coach from enjoying his free time.
The Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly trying to hire Hurley, who is undecided about jumping to the NBA or staying at UConn. On Saturday night, Hurley attended the Billy Joel concert at Madison Square Garden with his wife Andrea and Huskies assistant coach Luke Murray.
Murray shared a video on Instagram showing him enjoying the concert with the Hurleys. The son of actor Bill Murray, Luke Murray joined UConn as an assistant in 2021, having previously worked with Hurley at Wagner and Rhode Island. He is considered one of two potential replacements for Hurley at UConn if Hurley takes the Lakers job.
Some speculate Hurley might be using the Lakers’ interest as leverage to negotiate a higher salary from UConn, potentially positioning himself for a significant raise.
