[Saba Sports News] Luka Doncic enjoys interacting with opposing fans during games, but he likely didn’t expect one of those fans to be a team owner. That’s exactly what happened on Sunday night.
Boston Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck taunted Doncic during Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and the Celtics at TD Garden. According to Celtics reporter Jay King, Doncic responded to Grousbeck, with the exchange occurring during the third quarter.
Though Doncic scored during that sequence, Boston won the game 105-98, taking a 2-0 lead in the series as it heads to Dallas for Games 3 and 4 on Wednesday and Friday.
Fans should know by now that taunting Doncic only motivates him. Perhaps Grousbeck will press his luck in future games.
