[Saba Sports News] Authoritative motorsport magazine “Business F1” has revealed that Red Bull Racing’s renowned designer Adrian Newey has inked a contract with Ferrari that will span until 2027, with a total compensation package of US 105million. According to “BusinessF1,” Newey signed the deal in London on April 29, just prior to his departure for the Miami Grand Prix. The negotiations were handled by Newey′s agent, Eddie Jordan, who stands to earn a commission of 15 million. Subsequently, on May 1, Red Bull Racing officially announced that Newey would be departing the team in the first quarter of 2025. However, Ferrari has refrained from officially acknowledging Newey’s arrival in the interim. In his personal life, Newey maintains a degree of secrecy about his future plans, sharing limited details with his friends and indicating that a decision has yet to be made. The 66-year-old Newey is widely recognized as one of the most esteemed and influential automotive designers in the history of Formula 1. His illustrious career includes helping three different F1 teams to claim championship titles. As the current Chief Technical Officer of Red Bull F1, Newey has spearheaded the design of championship-winning cars such as the Red Bull RB6 (2010), RB7 (2011), RB8 (2012), and RB9 (2013). Legends abound about his ability to create race-winning designs without even resorting to wind tunnel testing. His designs have even prompted the FIA to revise its regulations. The anticipation surrounding Newey’s arrival at Ferrari and whether it will propel the Italian team to reclaim the F1 championship title is understandably high.
