[Saba Sports News] The 2024 NBA Draft might not see a rush for the top five picks, but that doesn’t mean no team is interested.
According to Joe Cowley of the Chicago Sun-Times, the Chicago Bulls have considered trading up from No. 11. They need rim protection and might be targeting UConn star Donovan Clingan.
The Bulls are not aggressively pursuing a trade but are contemplating whether No. 11 is sufficient to meet their needs. The team is in a unique situation, with one star player possibly leaving and DeMar DeRozan’s future uncertain.
Clingan is an ambitious target and fits well with Andre Drummond heading for free agency. However, there’s a chance the Bulls might not be able to draft him, even if they move into the top five.
