(sabasports report) Manchester United have other targets in central defence, reports the Manchester Evening News. Manchester United will move on to other targets if Everton do not lower their asking price for Jarrad Branthwaite.

United submitted a £35m + £8m bid for Branthwaite at the start of the summer transfer window, which was promptly rejected by Everton because it was too far short of their £75m bid. United are planning to bring in at least two central defenders this summer, with Lille’s Tiago Djalo, Bayern’s Matthijs de Ligt, Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi and others among their targets.
In addition, according to the Italian media, Red Bull Salzburg defender Oumar Solet (Oumar Solet) is also one of the candidates for United to sign. With his contract expiring next summer, the French defender has been priced at €12m – €15m, which is significantly cheaper than the £42m for Delicht and £50M for Guy.
United, on the other hand, have also been linked with a move for Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise. The young winger, who grew up a Red Devils fan, has a £60m release clause in his contract that can be activated by Champions League sides.
