[Saba Sports News] Los Angeles Lakers wing Austin Reaves is staying put after signing a four-year contract with the team last summer. However, one team can likely count themselves out of the running for his services.
During a recent golf tournament, a Detroit Pistons fan told Reaves, “We need you on the Pistons.” As he was putting on his gloves, Reaves immediately shut down the idea, replying, “I’m not going to Detroit.”
This likely speaks more to Reaves’ fit with the Lakers than any particular dislike for Detroit. He was clear about his desire to stay with Los Angeles when he was a restricted free agent last summer, and those feelings likely remain unchanged.
Additionally, the Pistons are currently one of the NBA’s most chaotic franchises, making them an unattractive destination for many players.
