[Saba Sports News] The Valiant, a custom-built track-oriented road-legal sports car commissioned by two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso, was launched on the market yesterday. As the most extreme front-engine road sports car in Aston Martin’s history, Valiant adheres to Aston Martin’s long-standing concept of large-displacement engines and is equipped with a 5.2-liter twin-turbocharger that can output up to 745 horsepower. V12 engine and matched with a six-speed manual transmission. Data shows that Valiant has a large number of aerodynamic kits from F1 cars, including a redesigned front spoiler, a fixed rear spoiler and an exaggerated rear diffuser. The Valiant’s bodywork is made entirely of carbon fiber to reduce weight and optimize airflow. In order to improve aerodynamic efficiency, the 21-inch magnesium alloy wheels also incorporate an aerodynamic wheel cover design, which is inspired by Aston Martin’s RHAM/1 racing car that competed at Le Mans in the 1970s. It is reported that Alonso participated in the design of this sports car. Previously, Alonso put forward a personalized customization requirement to Aston Martin to create an ultimate driving machine. Aston Martin has produced a limited edition of 38 Valiants, all of which are currently owned. The first deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2024, with the first car being delivered to F1 driver Alonso who has requested customization.
