(sabasports report)According to French media Foot Mercato, Marseille centre back Samuel Gigot is on his way out after the club reached an agreement with Turkish side TrabzonSport. Marseille are planning to restructure their defence this summer and have put one of their vice-captains, Samuel Gigot, on the market. Gigo is in the final year of his contract with the club and, given his age, there are no plans to extend his contract.
Trabzon Sport has already made a 3.5m euro plus 1.5m floating bonus offer to Marseille, which has been accepted, while Samuel Gigot was paid just 500,000 euros when he joined the club from Starak Moscow in 2022.
Trabzonsport now needs to convince Guego to leave Marseille, but it is unclear how the player will feel about moving to Turkey.
