[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, Serbian goalkeeper Vanja Ivesa got into a conflict with a bystander at a bar during the European Championship. Reports state that as Vanja was heading to a bar, a Serbian fan said to him, “What are you doing here? You should be in a restricted area, and you’re still drinking!” Vanja became very dissatisfied with this comment. He approached the fan and assaulted him, which led to intervention from the bar’s security guard and the owner. After the incident, the bar owner confirmed that something had indeed happened but provided a slightly different account. According to the owner, Vanja came to their bar, but the security guard at the entrance initially refused to let him in. This angered Vanja since he was wearing national team shorts, leading to a physical altercation. The owner quickly intervened and pulled him inside the bar, but Vanja refused. The details of their conversation are unknown, but the owner is relieved that everything eventually calmed down.
