(sabasports report)Barcelona have opened talks with Hull City over the transfer of Jaden Philogene-Bidace, according to Spanish media outlet Relevo. Barca plan to strengthen the wing position this summer, but given the difficulty of signing top target Nico Williams, the team has looked at other more cost-effective options, including Hull City’s young winger Philogane Bidas, negotiations are now in progress.
The 22-year-old winger starred in the championship last season, scoring 12 goals and providing six assists in 32 games. Hull signed him from Aston Villa for €5.8m last summer and, given his age and the length of his contract, another media outlet, Sports Digitale, says the English side are looking for at least €30m.
It is understood that a number of top teams have shown some interest in him, and Barcelona have opened formal talks to secure his signature.
