As the final part of the ceremony, Real captain Nacho donned a Real Madrid scarf and a Real Madrid flag for the Harvest goddess in the Plaza de la Harvest.
Real went on to beat Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final to lift the trophy again. In this celebration, Nacho is no longer on stage alone, but ascends the steps with team legend Luka Modrić.
Nacho revealed: “Modric told me he really wanted me to stay with them. I told him I was very happy and now it was his turn. Although we didn’t cry at the time, I cried many times after that.”
