[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, the mother of former Mexican international Carlos Salcedo has accused him of her sister’s murder. Carlos Salcedo, 30, has played for Fiorentina and Frankfurt and currently plays for Cruz Azul in Mexico. Carlos Salcedo was also a Mexican international defender and participated in the 2018 World Cup. Last week, Paola Salcedo, Carlos Salcedo’s sister, was shot and killed. Police investigations revealed that Paola Salcedo was being robbed, and two suspects shot her three times with a gun, resulting in her death. Mexican police have arrested two suspects, alleging that they were attempting to steal money to buy drugs. However, Carlos and Paola’s mother, Maria Isabel, disagrees with the police investigation. She said, “The real reason Carlos Salcedo wanted to leave Mexico was because he was responsible for Paola’s murder. He instigated the case.” However, Mexican police currently lack evidence to support Maria Isabel’s accusation.
