[Saba Sports News] Los Angeles Lakers rookie Bronny James had his best game yet in the NBA Summer League on Thursday, leading the Lakers to a 93-89 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
The 19-year-old was the Lakers’ second-leading scorer with 13 points on 5/10 shooting. He also broke out of his long-range shooting slump by hitting a crucial three-pointer in crunch time, bringing his team within two points.
James’ strong performance prompted fans on X to joke that Washington Wizards center Alex Sarr now holds the title of the worst player in NBA Summer League. Sarr had a dismal showing on Tuesday, going 0/15 from the field.
