[Saba Sports News] Real Madrid has officially announced that it has become the first football club to generate revenue exceeding 1 billion euros. The club’s revenue (excluding player transfers) for the 2023/24 season is expected to reach 1.073 billion euros, a 27% increase from the previous year. Real Madrid is projected to earn a profit of 16 million euros in the same fiscal year, with net assets totaling 574 million euros. In the sports field, the men’s football team has achieved great success, winning 6 Champions League championships from 2014 to 2024, along with the La Liga championship and the Spanish Super Cup championship. The basketball team has also performed well, winning the league, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup, and reaching the Champions League final. Despite not having the stadium fully operational this year, Real Madrid’s operating income for the 2023/24 fiscal year has exceeded 1 billion euros, making it the first club in football history to achieve this milestone.
