[Saba Sports News] Just after the recently concluded F1 Belgian Grand Prix main race, the Red Bull team, considered a strong contender for the championship, faced some obstacles. Max Verstappen, the driver for Red Bull, was penalized with a 10-place grid penalty for exceeding the allowed usage of the internal combustion engine. He started the race from 11th position and eventually finished in 5th place. This means that Verstappen has not won any of the last four races, which is a first for the 2022 season. Verstappen expressed that there was an error in the direction of the car’s upgrades, stating, “We tried a lot of things, but finding the right balance is always tricky. So, we are trying some new changes to see what works better. We need to find better solutions to get back on track.” In editor’s opinion, the Red Bull team needs to continue optimizing their upgrade strategy for future races. They should avoid issues with engine component allocation and minimize situations where drivers start from unfavorable positions due to penalties, as well as enhance the car’s performance on high-speed tracks.
