[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media, Inter is negotiating a sponsorship deal with Gate.io. After reaching an agreement with Betsson Group to become the club’s new main shirt sponsor, Inter still needs a new sleeve sponsor since their contract with eBay expired at the end of last season. Now, Inter has found Gate.io. Reportedly, Inter is negotiating with this cryptocurrency company, which is very likely to become the team’s new sleeve sponsor, bringing 6 million euros in revenue for the next season. However, Inter has requested a substantial upfront payment from the company, mainly due to a painful experience with a previous cryptocurrency company. This refers to DigitalBits, which was Inter’s main shirt sponsor until the final stage of the 2022-23 season, when Inter decided to terminate the agreement due to insufficient payments. Subsequently, the club reached an agreement with Paramount+ as a direct replacement. Currently, the parties are still in a legal dispute, with Inter seeking compensation for damages and outstanding payments.
