[Saba Sports News] This summer, Bayern Munich made a historic first visit to Korea, and young player Mathys Tel documented his daily life in Korea. Tel stated, “On Thursday night, Aleksandar Pavlovic and I enjoyed street food by the Han River. It tasted great but was much hotter than in Munich. Nevertheless, it was very nice. We also chatted with two people; Koreans are really very friendly. Besides, I listened to a lot of music and chatted with friends. We trained at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, which was also my first time training in front of 15,000 people. It was impressive.” Additionally, Tel is still taking German lessons, and his German teacher even flew to Seoul for this purpose. He studies for half an hour to an hour every day. Tel admitted that German was difficult at first, but now it’s much better. He tries to speak as much German as possible with his teammates, Munich locals, and even his family, since his mother also studied German.
