[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Mino Raiola’s agency will pay €8 million in back taxes. The late Mino Raiola, a famous football agent, passed away in 2022, but his agency still represents many players. The report states that Raiola’s agency earned around €90 million in commissions from over 60 player transfers or contract renewals in Italian football between 2016 and 2020 but did not declare and pay taxes to the Italian tax authorities as required. These transactions include Paul Pogba’s transfer from Juventus to Manchester United in 2016, Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract renewal with AC Milan in 2017, Hirving Lozano’s transfer from PSV to Napoli in 2019, Kostas Manolas’ transfer from Roma to Napoli in 2019, Matthijs de Ligt’s transfer from Ajax to Juventus in 2019, and Moise Kean’s transfer from Juventus to Everton in 2019. The local tax authorities in Naples conducted an audit, and this week the agency reached a settlement agreement with the tax authorities to pay €8 million in back taxes.
