(SabaSports) LeBron James was named the MVP of the 2024 Paris Olympics after the U.S. beat France 98-87 to win the gold medal. However, the decision prompted questions from media commentator Skip Bayless.
“We can’t beat Serbia, we can’t beat France without Stephen Curry,” Mr. Skip said. Curry made 17 of 26 3-pointers in the semifinals and finals, which almost turned into three-point contests. I predicted he would be our most important player. He should obviously be the most valuable player.”
Skip also posted a video after the U.S. men’s basketball title, concluding that Curry hit nine 3-point shots against Serbia and eight against France, a performance that would have allowed him to overtake lebron as the Olympic men’s basketball MVP. He further noted that it was “obviously a disgrace” for lebron to win the award and challenged the audience to refute his point.
