(SabaSports) Serbian club Partizan Belgrade are close to signing Aleksej Pokuševski, according to media outlet Sport Klub. Pokushewski, the 17th overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft, was cut by the Oklahoma City Thunder in February and subsequently signed by the Charlotte Hornets. However, on the 7th of this month, the Hornets cut him.
Pokushevski appeared in 10 games for the Thunder in 2023-24, averaging 1.2 points and one rebound in just six minutes per game. In 18 games with the Hornets, he averaged 7.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 19.2 minutes per game.
