[Saba Sports News] Lonzo Ball has missed the last two NBA seasons due to a knee injury, but the Chicago Bulls guard is optimistic about his return with the regular season just two months away.
Speaking to TMZ, Ball shared that his recovery is going well and he fully intends to play in the 2024-25 season.
“[Fans can expect] me back on the court,” Ball said. “That’s all I want to do.”
While brief, Ball’s comments suggest he’s determined to make a comeback this year. He’s already started dunking again as part of his rehab.
Having undergone multiple knee surgeries, there were concerns about whether Ball would ever play again. His return, if it happens, would be a significant victory. However, his role on the Bulls remains uncertain, especially with Coby White’s breakout season and the team’s recent acquisition of Josh Giddey, sparking speculation that Ball might need to continue his comeback with another team.
