[Saba Sports News] Aaron Gordon will honor the memory of his late brother throughout next season. According to NBA writer Etienne Catalan, the Denver Nuggets forward will change his jersey number from No. 50 to No. 32, the same number his brother Drew wore in college and professionally.
Drew, Aaron’s older brother, tragically passed away in a car accident in Oregon this past May at the age of 33. Aaron previously wore No. 00 with the Orlando Magic before switching to No. 50 after being traded to Denver in 2021. Following Drew’s death, Aaron got a tattoo in his brother’s memory and will now also wear Drew’s old number on the court next season.
