[Saba Sports News] NorthPort is gradually becoming Arvin Tolentino’s team. In the absence of Robert Bolick and Arwind Santos, Tolentino has taken over the leadership and led the team to a fast start early in the PBA Governors Cup season. The 28-year-old fourth-year wing had a stellar start to the season in two games, including a 113-103 win against Rain or Shine at the Yanares Center in Antipolo, where he set a career-high for points.

Tolentino came out firing on all fours, scoring a career-high 35 points and shooting 5 of 12 from beyond the arc to lead North Port to an electrifying win. His heroic performance ended with a one-handed dunk that also completely crushed the Rain or the Light as they tried to come back.
