[Saba Sports News] Fans noticed that Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo from Red Bull’s second team has removed the term “F1 driver” from his social media profile. This comes after a long close-up shot of Ricciardo during the final stages of the Singapore F1 Grand Prix; post-race, he was one of the last drivers to leave the track, sitting in his cockpit for a long time while everyone came to say goodbye. In an interview, Ricciardo was seen with teary eyes. All signs indicate that Ricciardo is about to leave F1, perhaps only awaiting an official announcement. Before the race, there were already rumors that New Zealand driver Liam Lawson would replace Ricciardo after the Singapore race. Under pressure, Ricciardo performed poorly in qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix, stopping at Q1. After the race, when asked by reporters if this was his farewell race, Ricciardo clearly stated that this might be his last participation in the Singapore Grand Prix and expressed regret that a fairy-tale ending did not happen for him. Reflecting on the past fourteen years, he feels very proud of his F1 career.
