[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, AC Milan head coach Paulo Fonseca motivated the entire team in a special way before their match against Inter. In Round 5 of Serie A, 25 AC Milan players were called up for the squad. Reports state that before the match, each player’s position in the AC Milan locker room had the word “Courage” written next to their player number and AC Milan crest in different languages corresponding to each player’s nationality, including Italian, English, French, Dutch, Serbian, German, Portuguese, and more. AC Milan head coach Fonseca hoped this would inspire courage and fighting spirit within the team so that they would not fear last season’s Serie A champions Inter. Ultimately, AC Milan delivered an excellent performance, winning 2-1 away against Inter Milan and ending their previous six-match derby losing streak. It is reported that last Wednesday, Fonseca had a candid conversation with the entire team without conducting tactical analysis for the Champions League matches but rather engaging in open communication among men. After that conversation, Fonseca realized he still had control over the team and that everyone would strive towards the same goal.
