[Saba Sports News] After the contract of coach Agus Dwi Santoso expired, Indian badminton star PV Sindhu decided to restructure her coaching team in search of a coach who can actively practice with her and contribute to her daily training. Thus, PV Sindhu appointed former South Korean badminton legend Lee Hyun-II as a consultant coach to further strengthen her coaching team. Previously, she had just appointed Indian badminton star Anup Sridhar as a temporary coach. It is reported that this strategic move was made ahead of PV Sindhu’s participation in the Finland Open and Denmark Open in October. Records show that Lee Hyun-II was once ranked number one in men’s singles and was PV Sindhu’s teammate during the Badminton Premier League (PBL). He is known for his meticulous pre-competition preparations and has rich international competition experience. The addition of Lee Hyun-II and Anup Sridhar will create a dynamic coaching duo expected to combine experience, tactical expertise, and a deep understanding of badminton.
