[Saba Sports News] It looks like Kevin Love plans to keep playing for a while longer.
Speaking to reporters at Miami Heat training camp, Love—who re-signed with the Heat this offseason on a two-year deal—shared that he hopes to reach 20 seasons in the NBA.
“I have a bit of a runway for at least two years,” Love said, per *Sports Illustrated*. “Then we’ll see. I’d love to reach that round number of 20.”
The 36-year-old five-time All-Star, now entering his 17th season, would be 40 by the time he hits that milestone in 2028. Love’s style of play—centered around shooting and high-IQ moves rather than speed—should help him stick around. He averaged 8.8 points and 6.1 rebounds in limited minutes for the Heat last season.
A respected veteran presence, Love has rebounded from past injury troubles and has secured a multi-year deal, showing he still has plenty left to give.
