In a tribute to the teachers many call their “second parents”, Asia’s 49-year-old professional league is offering all teachers a free chance to watch the fourth match of the Governor’s Cup quarter-finals. The game will be between SAN Miguel and Convige.

Teachers only need to show their teaching credentials to get free admission to the 7pm game at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Teachers’ Day is celebrated annually on October 5, coinciding with World Teachers’ Day, which was first established by UNESCO in 1994.
