[Saba Sports News] Converge fought back to keep their hopes alive on Monday. Facing a do-or-die situation, FiberXers isn’t looking ahead and is hoping to do whatever it takes to win again in Friday’s do-or-die battle against the mighty San Miguel Beermen. The match will be played at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

San Miguel’s loss in its third game, followed by a loss to South Korean team Suwon KT Sonicboom in the opener of the 2024-25 East Asian Super League (EASL), led many to speculate that the Beermen, who are back in the PBA Governor’s Cup playoffs, would be a tougher opponent.
The game is expected to kick off at 7:30 p.m. with San Miguel head coach Jorge Gallent and his team making another attempt to eliminate Converge in a bid to clear the way for the highly anticipated semifinal showdown between San Miguel and Barangay Ginebra.
The question is whether Converge can again demonstrate sufficient counterweight.
