[Saba Sports News] As the PBA Governors’ Cup comes to a head, the San Miguel Beer team is showing signs of fatigue due to the frequent schedule. And Barangay Ginebra head coach Tim Cone offered no sympathy for his opponents’ fatigue. On Friday, the teams will face off in the second match of the semifinals at the Smart Araneta Arena.

“They are really tired, and that makes it very difficult for them to prepare and train,” Cohen said. San Miguel has had to play seven games in the past two weeks, putting its physical fitness to the test.
But Mr Cohen stressed: “We’re not going to feel sorry for them, frankly. Our task is not to sympathize with them, but to make the most of every opportunity. If they are fatigued, we will take advantage.”
Ginebra came out on top in Wednesday’s opening game, shooting hot and cruising to a 122-105 victory to take the lead in the best-of-seven series.
