After two tough matches in a row between the teams, Tropang Giga are already in a key position as they prepare to make a final push in the fifth match at the Ynares Sports Complex in Antipolo on Friday.
With just one more win, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and his teammates are on their way to the final showdown in a bid to repeat the feat of winning the PBA Governor’s Cup title in 2023 when they won against Barangay Ginebra Kings.
After Wednesday’s 91-89 win, Tropang Giga have three chances to advance to the final, with the first being Friday’s Game 5 at Ynares Arena in Antipolo.
Despite the tough passage last time around, TNT coach Chot Reyes remained cautious and didn’t think too far ahead.
