[Saba Sports News] According to an official report from the Premier League, 29-year-old Jonathan Edge from Liverpool illegally streamed Premier League games using Fire Sticks. He admitted to his crimes, and his sentencing was announced today in a Liverpool court. Edge promoted this service on social media and unlawfully uploaded the broadcast signals to Fire Stick devices for profit. He repeatedly ignored warnings to cease these activities, which the judge considered as an aggravating factor in his sentencing. In response, the Premier League’s chief legal advisor Kevin Plumb stated, “We will continue to combat such behavior, regardless of its scale and operational model. Ignoring warnings to stop will only lead to more severe consequences for individuals. The sale of broadcasting rights for the Premier League makes a significant financial contribution to the entire football industry, and we are pleased the court recognizes the importance of upholding our legitimate broadcasting rights in this case. Furthermore, we will continue to commit to fighting against such illegal activities, regardless of their scale.”
