[Saba Sports News] F1 has just released the latest calendar for the upcoming season, revealing that the 2025 F1 Chinese Grand Prix will take place in late March at the Shanghai venue. Moreover, according to the new plans for the F1 Academy, the Shanghai International Circuit will also host F1 Academy races for the first time in the 2025 season. This event, launched by F1 in 2023, is an all-female driver competition. A total of seven races will be held in the 2025 season, with the opening race occurring during the Chinese Grand Prix, marking China’s first inclusion in this event calendar. It is believed that the F1 Academy series holds significant and far-reaching meaning for female drivers. In traditional motorsport, female drivers are relatively few and face many challenges and biases. The emergence of the F1 Academy series provides a valuable competitive platform for female drivers to showcase their strength and talent on tracks that meet the same specifications as their male counterparts. It is not only a contest of speed but also a stage for female drivers to challenge traditional gender perceptions.
