[Saba Sports News] Recently, F1 experts conducted a survey regarding the DRS (Drag Reduction System) and concluded that it does not enhance the viewing experience of the races, recommending its removal. This report has sparked considerable discussion. The DRS is an adjustable rear wing control system that works by allowing drivers to press a button when entering a straight, which adjusts the upper wing flaps to reduce down-force, enabling the car to speed up by minimizing drag. However, there are also many opposing views that argue DRS should be retained; otherwise, races may become dull. It is believed that since its introduction, the DRS system has always been controversial. On one hand, it has indeed increased the spectacle of races and made overtaking easier, resulting in more intense competitions. On the other hand, it is also seen as potentially affecting the fairness of the races, making overtaking too simple.
