[Saba Sports News] According to German media, Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies was stopped for driving under the influence in Munich but did not have his driver’s license revoked. On Thursday night, Davies was driving his Lamborghini Urus in downtown Munich when police pulled over the luxury vehicle at 2:15 AM. During the conversation with the driver, police detected the smell of alcohol. Davies was taken to the police station for a test, where his blood alcohol content was measured at 0.6‰. Reportedly, Davies’s level of intoxication did not reach criminal levels, and he faces a fine of 500 euros and a one-month driving ban. Bayern Munich has declined to comment on the matter. On Friday at 12:15 PM, Davies appeared at the training facility driving the club’s official Audi, participating in the final training session before the match against Borussia Dortmund, just like any other day. It remains to be seen how Bayern Munich fans will react to Davies’s DUI.
