[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, the new Club World Cup currently has only two sponsors and no media broadcasting partners. Reports state that FIFA is in a busy period, determining World Cup hosting rights while also handling sponsorship for the new Club World Cup, which is more challenging than Gianni Infantino imagined. The new 32-team Club World Cup will be held in the United States next summer. The good news is that the new Club World Cup already has two sponsors: Budweiser and Hisense. It is unclear what Budweiser’s sponsorship contract entails, but FIFA owes Budweiser due to Qatar’s late ban on alcohol sales during the 2022 World Cup. Meanwhile, as part of a broader cooperation agreement with FIFA, Adidas and Coca-Cola believe they have already paid sponsorship fees for the World Cup, and both sides are currently in discussions at the Swiss arbitration court. With the draw for the new Club World Cup taking place this week and Saudi Arabia confirmed as the host for the 2034 World Cup, more sponsors are expected to sign with FIFA, with Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Sovereign Wealth Fund, and Riyadh Air as potential candidates.
