[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, nearly two-thirds of Manchester United fans are unhappy with the club’s new management, demanding that they abandon the controversial mid-season ticket price increase. Fans scored a small victory in their fight against a uniform price of £66 for members for the remaining matches of the season, as the club discussed the issue at a fan advisory committee meeting on Monday. The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) conducted a new survey revealing fans’ anger towards the club’s management, with over 4,000 fans participating. Reports indicate that 65% of fans are “dissatisfied with the club’s ownership and management,” and 97% believe these changes will “alienate the next generation of fans.” More than 68% of fans stated they “will reduce their match attendance regardless,” while only 3% said they “understand” this decision. Additionally, 99% of fans indicated that it is “important” for the club to properly consult with fans before making any future ticketing changes.
