[Saba Sports News] According to Spanish media reports, FIFA will provide substantial prize money for the expanded Club World Cup in 2025, with previous reports indicating that each participating team could receive a minimum of 50 million euros, with the total prize pool expected to reach 1.6 billion euros, although the actual amount may be lower. Reports suggest that after reaching a global broadcasting agreement with DAZN, broadcasting revenue is expected to reach 1 billion euros. In terms of sponsorship revenue, partnerships have been established with brands like Hisense, Bank of America, and Budweiser. The 12 European teams will share about 70% of the prize money. The European Club Association has requested that the prize money be distributed proportionally based on the commercial value generated by the teams, rather than equally. Infantino emphasized that FIFA will not incur additional expenses for this event. He is still handling the funding issues for the Super Club World Cup and adjusting the prize distribution, having already signed important sponsorship agreements with several major brands: Hisense, Bank of America, Budweiser, and Rock-it Cargo. These companies will also collaborate with FIFA during the 2026 World Cup to help pay the prize money for the 32 participating teams. The remaining financial support will come from operators who acquire the broadcasting rights for the Club World Cup.
