[Saba Sports News] The BWF World Tour Finals have concluded successfully. Although Danish badminton star Viktor Axelsen did not compete, he experienced the local culture in China. He visited Hangzhou, China, to participate in a filming event, and afterward, he shared his feelings about being there in a media interview. Axelsen said, “This is my first time at West Lake, and the experience is fantastic. I have fallen in love with drinking tea, and I am very happy to have the opportunity to come here.” His arrival at the filming site attracted the attention of many tourists, with several greeting him in Chinese, to which Axelsen responded in Chinese, demonstrating his good command of the language. He previously mentioned that because badminton is very popular in China, and he couldn’t speak Chinese when he first arrived, he started learning the language. This has allowed him to make new friends and deepen his understanding with Chinese fans, bringing him much happiness. Notably, “Axelsen” is the Chinese name given to him by his teacher.
