[Saba Sports News] According to Italian media reports, Roma has paid former head coach Ivan Juric one month’s salary to complete his contract termination. Juric was dismissed by Roma on November 10, and his contract with the club was set to last until June 2025. However, he is now ready to take charge of Premier League team Southampton. It is reported that Juric will sign a contract with Southampton until the end of the season, and if the team successfully avoids relegation, the contract will automatically be extended for another year. Both parties have agreed on personal terms. Nevertheless, Juric faces a daunting relegation battle, as Southampton has only garnered 5 points in the first 16 league matches, placing them 9 points adrift from safety. However, Juric is fully prepared to move to England. Reports indicate that after finalizing details with Southampton, Juric has also reached an agreement with Roma to terminate his contract. Roma will pay Juric and his coaching staff one month’s salary in January in exchange for terminating the contract six months early, allowing Roma to avoid further salary payments.
