[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, England head coach Thomas Tuchel must wait until the World Cup qualifiers in March to meet with the players officially, but he has already started calling players. On the first day of this year, Tuchel officially began his role as the England head coach, and this month he has attended many matches, sometimes watching two games in a day. In addition to assessing the performances of England internationals in person, he has started phone communications with England players, mainly for self-introductions and outlining team plans. Previously, Chelsea forward Noni Madueke revealed that he received a call from Tuchel, but he is not the only England player to receive such a call. It is reported that Tuchel is also keeping an eye on Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah, who he worked with during his time at Chelsea. Chalobah is capable of playing in both a four-back and three-center-back system, and he was named Man of the Match in the game against Wolverhampton. This was Chalobah’s first match after returning from a loan at Crystal Palace. If he continues to perform well, he could have a chance to be a starter in Tuchel’s England national team.
