[Saba Sports News] McLaren F1 Team officially announced the appointment of former Sauber team principal Alessandro Alunni Bravi as Chief Commercial Officer, leading the team’s driver development program. Bravi will report directly to McLaren CEO Zak Brown and will officially take office on February 1. Bravi has many years of experience in F1, having previously collaborated with the McLaren team and served as the manager for Belgian driver Stoffel Vandoorne. Zak Brown expressed great excitement about Bravi’s arrival, stating that Bravi has extensive expertise and a background in motorsport. In addition to managing the team’s legal affairs and driver development, Bravi will also manage all professional drivers’ business, oversee all racing activities, provide support in relationships with various rights holders and governing bodies, and offer extensive advice across all racing series as needed. Bravi is enthusiastic about his new role, expressing that he is a super fan of the McLaren team and is excited about the opportunity to work with such an incredible group of people. He believes teamwork is key to everything and will do his utmost to contribute to the company’s continued success to repay Zak and the board for their trust in him.
