[Saba Sports News] According to British media reports, there has been internal conflict within the Premier League club Wolves, as Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha has publicly refuted head coach Vítor Pereira’s criticism of him through social media. Following Wolves’s 1-3 loss to Chelsea, team captain Cunha walked directly back to the players’ tunnel, looking dejected. Pereira expressed his dissatisfaction afterward, stating, “I don’t like this body language. I expect a captain to help the team, to run together, suffer together, and fight together. I can understand Cunha’s behavior this time, but I won’t understand it next time.” In response, Cunha posted a message on his Twitter account saying, “Liar!” Currently, Wolves is ranked 17th in the Premier League, but Cunha has performed well this season, making 22 appearances for the team, scoring 10 goals and providing 4 assists. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027, and his market value is estimated at €50 million. It is reported that clubs such as Arsenal and Nottingham Forest are interested in acquiring Cunha.
